My Story

I was born and raised in the Edmonton, Alberta area. Sports were my life growing up. Whether it be football, hockey, lacrosse, track or many of the others sports I participated in, there wasn't a time of  the year I wasn't playing something. Football quickly became my passion and the sport I pursued, playing in the Canadian Junior Football League which provided me with the opportunity to move out to British Columbia in 2016. Returning to Alberta after my playing career for a short period, I missed BC and ventured back out, calling the Okanangan home ever since.

My passion for understanding the body and massage therapy largely stems from my extensive background and involvement in sports, using massage therapy to help manage some of the injuries I experienced as an athlete. I have dealt with various injuries myself throughout my athletic career from muscle strains and tendinopathies, to broken bones and concussions. Going through the rehabilitation process myself multiple times, I am able to empathize with you at the various stages of your own health and wellness journey. I have always been fascinated with the complexity of human anatomy and physiology, I am passionate to share my knowledge and experiences with you to help clarify any question you may have.

With football playing such a large role in my life I naturally transitioned into coaching after playing and have now been volunteering my time as a coach the past 10 years. I enjoy weight training and follow a year round training regime, this allows me to feel my best physically and keeps me sharp mentally. In the summer I like to take advantage of our Okanagan weather by spending time on the golf course or going out on the lake for a paddle. In the winter when the snow is calling you can find me up in the mountains snowboarding.
